Sri Rayaru Aradhana Celebrations – Madipakkam – Sep 4 2011

Sri Madipakkam Madhwa Seva Sanga & Lakshavrutti Hari Vayu Stuthi Mantra Parayana Samiti (LHVSMPS) jointly performed Sri Raghavendra Swamigala Aradhana on Sunday, 4th Sep 2011, @ Poorna Pushkala Hall, near Iyyappan temple, Madipakkam with all fervor.

The Aradhana Celebrations commenced as early as 5:30AM with Pavamana Homa. Poornahuthi was performed @ 8AM. Samiti Volunteers have made very neat seating arrangements for the Parayana with asanas and fans. At 8:30AM, HVS parayana commenced with 100+ devotees and few more joined during in next 10-15 mins. Two Avruthis were chanted and concluded at 10:15AM. Chanting was done very slowly and it was a lovely sight to watch such a mass of peole chanting the sacred mantra in chorus.

AnuMadhwa Vijaya Book was released by the president of the Sanga, Sri Laxman Rao. The recepiant of the first copy was Sri Krishna Rao, who had sponsored for the book. The book will be available @ a nominal price of Rs.10/- from next week onwards.
At 10:30AM, the 9th Laksharchana of the Koti Archana of Sri Raghavendra Swamigalu was performed by about 120 devotees, again in a well organized manner. Flowers to perform the Archana was continued to be distributed by the volunteers during the course of Archana.

 At 11:30AM, three Alankara Brahmins (Vedic Pandits) were seated and Sri. S V Nagarajan, the sangha’s committee member did padha prathistane with ably assisted by S P Anand. Sri Vedavyasan has performed the saligrama pooja and had made ready the theertha earlier. At 11:45AM, theerthaprasada was served. More than 550 devotees had the theerthaprasada.

Two educational scholarships, one to the son of Sri Krishnamoorhty Rao, cook of Mohanur Mutt and the other was to the daughter of Sri Vasudevan ex. Achar of SRS Mutt, Nanganallur were distributed. Both the children are studying in the Engg. College.
By 4PM, the hall was vacated. It is in this same place, SRS aradhana was conducted every year. LHVSMP Samiti thank the volunteers who were in the hall from 5AM till 4PM for their yeoman service. We expect more young volunteers to trun up for such events.

The invitation for the next mega HariVayuStuthi parayana program to be conducted @ Sri Anjaneyar Temple, Nanganallur on Nov 20 2011 was distributed to all the devotees and registrations for the same was accepted. Please come back to the site again in next few days to know more about that program.
